Illegal Immigration

Washington, please stop this flood of illegal immigration before it destroys our economy and it is too late to recover. If this is not stopped immediately, we will be nothing more than another third world nation in the next 20-30 years. Coming here illegally IS a crime, and should be treated as such. The arguement that these illegals do the work we don't want to do is invalid. First of all, there are millions drawing welfare that could be assigned to do these jobs instead of sitting on their lazy asses raping the hardworking legal taxpayers of our country. The summer migrant farm jobs could be done by students who want to make some extra pocket money for themselves or need the extra money to help their families. This would also help teach them good work ethic for when they become adults. The effects of these illegals are unfair to both those who are Americans and those who came here legally to work. They drive the wages down so that when legal people are fortunate enough to find work, they don't get paid what they deserve, which translates into less money being paid in taxes to further benefit the American people. Some of these illegals involve themselves in the drug trade, thus poisoning our communities and contributing in the rise of violent crime. Not only do they commit violent crime to claim their turf, their customers who use their illicit drugs obtain their money to get their fixby any means necessary, which often results in violent crime.

Now that the problems have been identified, I'm going to go into detail on solutions. I acknowledge it is way to costly to go round these illegals up in masses and ship them all back. Amnesty will probably need to be granted to those here and have not been involved in any type of drug activity or violent crime. This amnesty should be conditional, so if they were to be convicted of a felony, the penalty would be immediate deportation. They could be made citizens at the cost of a fine which could be garnished from their wages. This money could go to help offset the cost of building a wall. There needs to be a big wall built along the border with another wall built about 1/4 mile or so into our country so that if they get over one wall, agents can get to them while they are in between. Penalties to employers need to be severe to deter hiring illegals. The law needs to be a federal offense so that it is the same everywhere. There should be a fine of $100k or so for each illegal that is employed for the first offense. The second offense should be the government seizes your business assets, and 5 to 10 years in federal prison. The business would then be sold to the highest business with the money going directly to ICE to help cover the expenses of enforcement. Aiding and abedding an illegal immigrant should also be a federal offense. This would help to minimize the effect of amnesty cities. I feel 5 years in federal prison is sufficient for anyone who aides illegals. If the person who aided came here from another country, he/she should also be deported and never allowed to come back. This would deter family members who are legally here from helping the ones here illegally. Anyone caught here illegally should face immediate deportation, as they are not American citizens, so therefore they have no constitutional rights. The only right they have is to be treated humanely on the trip back and provided with basic needs such as food and water.

This is just my thoughts on a VERY important issue that pertains to the future prosperity of our economy. I realize this is America and your opinions may differ, as that is your First Amendment rights (as fortunately the liberals havn't taken them away YET).
