Last night, Alan Combs (of Hannity and Combs on Fox News Channel) protested that the left is criticized unfairly for being unpatriotic, after all, isn't it patriotic to note what is wrong with the country? Isn't it patriotic to wave the flag of excess by the right wing? Is it finally, patriotic to call for an end to the terror war because after all, the war was a concoction of President Bush's, right?
