McCain loves war. Bush, Chaney and McCain will start a war with Iran before the election in November so that McCain gets elected and the Republications keep their power. If McCain gets elected this country will be worse off than ever before !!!!!

We must remember our mantra, global warming exists, humans cause it, and without Al Gore, all would be lost.

Dissenters must be met with scorn and derision, and the views of Gore and our friends must be accepted without question by the public, the media, and politicians. We know Political consensus is a precursor to public action. Our politicians and supportive industries know this, and we know we cannot afford to tolerate dissent. Dissent weakens our message of doom without which the public fear cannot be raised. The new Global warming theology, aims to give people doubt and scare them about the future. Remember confusion, doubt and fear are our essential weapons. It may not be the best science, but it is good politics.

There is no justified skepticism about the science behind global warming. Scientists who claim an over-reliance on complex computer modeling that reacts wildly to incremental change in assumptions must be scorned. Climatologists, who claim that the processes of climate change are not sufficiently understood to support predictions about the climate with certainty, must be mocked. Scientists, who say that the necessary empirical data has not yet been collected, must be chided. Climatologists and scientists, who believe that our climate-models are not yet precise enough, must be silenced, and engineers who think our computers don’t have adequate processing power to run the extraordinarily complex models that climate science requires, must be defunded.

We know that scientific inquiry will be led by the researcher and the availability of funding. This is well-known. We must make sure funding is available for pro-global warming researchers, while cutting off funding for any who are not on board. There must be grants for producing our data and none for contemplation.
We cannot allow debate, now that we have our "consensus." However informed the critical voices are, they must be met with disdain. We must squelch scientific truth seeking. It's all for a good cause.

It's not merely a good cause just for supporters of global warming with projects and agendas to profit from it. The adoption of our theories also provides a convenient means to grow our movement. We could make new and ever expanding global bureaucracies at will. We can make climate change a pretext for massive new central-planning structures and policy changes we could not have otherwise. We will be able to subordinate the economic freedom of all the industrialized countries to a War on Carbon. It will be start of a new era of wealth redistribution like we have only dreamed of.

Do not worry that climate change has been occurring for 4 billion years, or that it will continue. The slightest evidence to suggest that human activity has anything to do with climate change is all we need. We can move forward if we pretend to be sure. Climate science is far from simple; but we cannot let our agenda be held back by scientific inquiry and debate.

I guess we never learn. Even though we've danced a few times with a lampshade on our head, we still seem to have another episode waiting within us. One that will be talked about for awhile.

My girlfriend and I went out last night. It was a business function, but our favorite local band was playing. They are the ultimate party band. Since I am currently not representing the "business community" in my town, I decided to just be myself..................YIKES  Also, I can pretty easily lead my friend down the dark path as well. She is a follower. ;)

We may officially be known as their groupies by now. All I know is I'm tired today. Trekking through the grocery store with a 2 year old was a challenge, but I'm home alive.

I'll leave you to wonder about the title of this piece. It is fairly innocent, but I asked that the photos not be posted on the website.

Keep me away from "stupid juice" (aka rum and diet cokes) and lampshades. I'm back in hibernation mode.

AWE can be a pretty rough place. If you cringe at the thought of being called a pig fucker or cunt, you may want to look for the chat room at huggies.com.

I was wondering..........does it hurt less to be insulted via the internet vs. in person? I know it is definitely easier to insult someone from my keyboard vs. face to face. You don't really know who you are insulting and therefore care less about the human being on the receiving end.

Hey, I know this place is called "argue with everyone" so anything is fair game, but I think we should all try and remember we are dealing with a human being on the other end.

My alarm clock didn't go off this morning. You should know my alarm clock is my two year old. Usually he wakes up early so I don't worry about using a real alarm. So my day got off to a crazy start as I had to get the 7 year old off to school, etc.

In the midst of flying toast, juice and cereal the phone rings. It is one of the other moms from school. She #1 tells me my Pampered Chef order is in (highway robbery this crap) and #2 asked if I'd like to join her and some other ladies on a BUNCO league. Ugh.

If you don't know anything about BUNCO, that makes two of us. All I do know about it is that a bunch of snobby chicks gather about once a month to gossip, drink and roll dice.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bunco

As some of you know, the drinking part would peak my interest , but hanging out with middle-aged ladies who endlessly talk about their kids and other boring subjects does not interest me in the least.

I'd be more suited for a dart, pool or bowling league. I like to swill beer, swear and dance wildly to bands.

Sorry local moms, I have to say PASS on your snooty BUNCO league. If you are interested, I'll be at the corner tavern with the real people. ;)

Some of you may have noticed a negative pattern in my discussion of Wisconsin weather. I'm always this way this time of year. I battle with my love of living here every year at this time. The weather sucks here in early spring.

Today was decent. The sun came out most of the day, and we may have hit 50 degrees. Tonight a friend coaxed me to do our "big walk" which is an hour of a big hill and back down. I hesitated knowing that I'd have to put on my hat and gloves to make it as the sun set, but in the end, I'm never disappointed.

First, I love to walk. Second, it was quite a nice evening if you were bundled up. What is the harm in a coat, gloves and hat? Who cares if May 1 is around the corner? Big deal! As I was walking I enjoyed the smell of bonfires and budding trees. So much hope this time of year.

I think I'll be o.k., but each year gets a bit harder.

“Problem, no motivation to study”

By David H. Marshall

The problem is a motivational problem. You must first realize that there are consequences involved that will be with you for the rest of your life.

Make a list of the ways you think your not studying can and will effect your quality of the rest of your life. Think of the lack of choices you will have In the level of creature comfort you will be able to achieve. That would includes the choices of spouse you could attract. Your financial status would be greatly diminished with a second rate education. Your self esteem will cause you to resent your self, possibly hate yourself for the chances you throw away to better yourself.

It is your choice to become a stump watching trivia and playing video games. You will be the one to pay the consequences for such a choice, and it is a choice simply made by changing, or by doing nothing about your perceived problem with your self.

You as an individual must do this for yourself. It is not necessary to be a study freak to succeed, an adjustment in your time management is needed. Set rules for your self that are not so strict that they have no chance to succeed. A most important rule, is never to break your own rules. The punishment for that is in distrusting yourself and hating yourself for it. You can never get away from your self so the consequences for that are yours for life.

Bottom line; choices you make now are choices you must live with, along with the what those choices bring with them into the rest of your life.

All of those things I am able to enjoy along with the ability to travel freely from state to state. all of them and much much more; because I was born an American.
We visited some friends in IL this weekend. The friends are younger than me. The female is 25 and the male is 30. I will be 38 this summer..........by the way, I'm o.k. with that. I've learned to embrace my inner cougar.

The issue is with the whooping it up. The younger folks can slam down the drinks (as I suppose I was able to do in my 20s). I can consume some drinks as well, but my problem occurs with the sleep deprivation that follows. I can no longer pass out into a lovely coma-like state. Nope, now I lay wide awake wondering how the hell anyone can sleep on a futon. I also ponder several extra trips to the potty, and if I should bumble my way in the dark to get a glass of ice water and some ibuprofen.

Gone are the days of reckless abandon, and the ability to sleep on any hard surface. Now I am fantasizing about my pillow top mattress and electric blanket.

I'm going to bed early tonight.

I've become such a whimp.

We all give or take that which suits OUR society. I feel compelled to say that not one of us is ignorant. Yet we choose ignomy.

Barack continues to DENY Floridas vote!

Now that it has become clear that although Barack may be able to win the nomination he is NOT electable come November because historically for a democrat to win we must win the big states which he cannot win, and Hillary can! That altho he wishes to discount the Floridians vote, they will NOT be discounted (nor Michigan) come November; and that Hillary can beat McCain even without Baracks voters while Barack CANNOT beat McCain without the big states! Why are "we" not asking him to WITHDRAW for the good of the party and the Nation? After all (tho he has always been) he is clearly a liability to the party!

Never mind that he is a liability to the nation with all his shady practices, lies, and questionable associations and lets not forget HIS racist Ideology. It appears to me that if a Civilian had the type of associations that Barack has with Resko, Hamas, Farakon and Pastor Wright that civilian would and should be under surveilance if not investigation by the Government. Why is he being allowed to remain in public office, let alone run for the highest office?

Easy Bake Oven

This was an item I REALLY wanted as a little girl, but never got. Well, now I'm a mother of a 7 year old girl. She did receive an Easy Bake oven from Santa last Christmas. God, this thing sucks!!!!! My mom was smart never to purchase this piece of shit.

My daughter is off of school today so I knew we'd have to bust out the "EASY" bake oven.

At least we both had a laugh at the pathetic cake we made in it. I can't believe I even ate a piece. I'd rather get my sugar calories off of something decent!
