Top 3 Things that need change!
Things I think need work and why:
(Not in order of importance)
1. School system- Putting more and more tax dollars into the school system is not going to make them better. Compitition creates better schools! Giving them money just encourages them to use it. I think they should start letting parents choose where they want to send their children. The schools would then try to be the best that they could to get more students.
Also they should teach kids basic economics. During elections I hear of so many people that do not understand how the economy works and can not make an informed decision on who has the best economic policy.
2. THE IRS!! (
)- Most american's do not realize that there was a point in time when american's did not pay income tax. Not until the 1900's did income tax become a part of america. Before that there were property taxes and taxes on products but never on income. It is rediculous and unnecessary for the government to control that amount of money in the US. We wonder why we are having economic troubles and why companies are outsourcing. Its because they are taxed horribly here!! I do not think that the Fair tax would be the end all solution because I do not think that the governement receive all that money, but I think it is a great place to start. It encourages saving and would deburden the large corporations and bring them back to america. I will speak more indepth about this later.
3. Envy
American's are envious. They see people with things that they do not have and wish they could have it without having to do anything. People are jealous and see this large companies and think its not fair that they are soo sucessful when they aren't. People aren't willing to work hard and be sucessful they want their life perfect and handed to them. So they make it hard for people to be sucessful by taxing their asses off! Why not encourage people to try hard and be sucessful and make it easier for people so that more people could be sucessful. Why bring people down to your level? What happened to working hard to make something out of yourself and have pride in what you do? Letting companies keep more of their money means they can create new jobs for people and have greater benefits and opportunities for their workers. T
