This is inspired by wolf22's "forced abortion" BS.
Here is an analogy:
Suppose I sign a contract to buy a house. I didn't have to buy that house, or any house at all. My "choice" point was when I signed. Now, what if I said later "I changed my mind, I want to back out". The seller could sue me. Then what if I complained "I'm being forced to buy a house - nobody should be forced to buy a house! I have freedom of choice!" Nobody would accept my complaint - they'd say the time for your "choice" has come and gone - when you signed the contract.
Likewise, the REAL "choice" of a woman re pregnancy is when she decides to have sex. (This is putting aside for the moment pregnancies from rape, which are 1% of abortions according to the pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute.) When she has sex, she risks pregnancy. If she gets pregnant, her "choice" has already come and gone. She now has a CONTRACT (or at least analogously that's how it should be viewed) with the fetus. Nobody tied her to a table and inseminated her - THAT would be "forced pregnancy". What a woman who is either voluntarily or negligently pregnant REALLY wants to do is RENEGE on the consequences of the choice she has ALREADY made, much the same as if I wanted to back out on my purchase contract.
The "forced pregnancy" mantra is BS.![]()
