The better question is what is a human life and what is not a human life?
How is that pertinent to the abortion issue, the constitution and the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness?
If we are to deny any human life the right to that life, we should be stripped of all our human rights, as all rights come from the right to life. Why would we even need human rights if we were denied the right to life?

Something that has no viable brain, for instance, and will die within days of birth is, if the parents are human, undoubtedly a baby. What fun for a mother to carry that to term! Over 90% (I've read 94% in some statistics) of abortions done have nothing to do with the health of mother of baby.
What is extreme? How about stabbing a late term baby in the head and sucking its brains out? Kind of extreme don't you think?
