At Risk of Getting Pregnant??
"As a result, 28 million women in the United States are at risk for an unintended pregnancy, according to the study conducted by the Guttmacher Institute in New York.'
Strange way of phrasing it, eh?

There are no barriers to contraception. If my little piss ant town can have a clinic with free contraception, then I'm sure it is available in most other places.
I'm tired of that excuse.

I agree. Being lazy and/or lacking foresight used to be considered grave sins, now they are treated as justified excuses.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not just putting it on the women. This should be on the minds of men and women. Unfortunately, a lot of men seem to think this isn't their problem.
In the end, it becomes the problem of the child. A lot of these "sperm donors" don't want anything to do with the kid, and the mom is left to deal with a child which is WAY more taxing than getting yourself some damn birth control.

It is unfair, but the burden will always be on the women. They are the ones who get pregnant, not men. And you can't force them to care about the results of their actions. Again, idealistically I agree with you, but the reality of the situation is that life is unfair on this matter.
However, as for the financial matter, I am all for hitting the fathers up and throwing their deadbeat asses in jail if they don't pay.

Definitely yes on your second opinion. If men don't like that financial reality, then they'd better wear triple condoms before going out to play.
