Need to teach youself and kids. Don't take drinks/candy from strangers. If you set your drink down and walk away don't drink it when you come back to it.

We all know this. If I am drinking something while I am out It stays with me untill it is done. If I set it down and move away from it, I get a new one.

Considering it's still an ongoing investigation, who's to say this girl may not have knowingly taken the drug? Maybe she didn't want to be pregnant or didn't want her parents to know...teenagers don't always do the "correct" or appropriate thing....I'm not accusing, just observing these were issues not covered in the news story provided.

the only issue is what happens when you are with "friends" who you think you can trust. I think this brings up that unanswered parenting question:
