I used to think that.....that sex was great, but only with someone you're committed to and, if you don't love them, at least respect them.

Now, I think sex can be great even if you're not committed. I still think there's got to be an element of trust and respect, however.

in general my permise is that if you believe having sex with someone is disrespectful - #1 - its your issue, #2- obvously you shouldn't be having sex with anyone
and if you think sex has to be about dominace and submission, that certain sex acts are degrading/bad in some way yet you want your partner to do them, and you think somehow your sex defines you as a man or woman or person of integrity - you do not need to have sex. its not fair to your partners.
