Exactly, PaleRider. In one word, they are very illusive.

Yeah, he tried to suggest that I had argued that life was sacred also. Soon he will challenge you to a head to head debate and then run away when you accept the challenge.

I know that unborns, at any stage of development, are just as alive, and just as human as me. They are less mature, but my right to live isn't based on my level of maturity. My right to live is based on the fact that I am a human being. Now prove that unborns at any stage of development are something other than human beings.

Look, dude. If you want to save the almighty fetus, you need to find another place for it to gestate. It's as simple as that. Women can't be forced to gestate. Women are human beings with rights.

LOL, isn't that the truth.
Arguing with them is like going through a labyrinth. One has to be very vigilant and focused, otherwise they would take you for a spin.

I've 'splained it here several times. The difference is autonomy. A fetus isn't an independent being - it's attached to (and dependent upon) another's body and feeds off her bodily resources. That's fine and dandy if the woman wants to be pregnant.
However if she doesn't want to be pregnant, you (meaning the pro-fetus crowd) need to find another place for it to gestate. Women can't be forced to gestate. Women are independent human beings with rights.
Now you show me a link that confirms that women aren't free and can be forced to gestate against their will. I'll wait.

So also are conjoined twins. Attached or not, independent or not, and autonomy or not, those aren't proof that they're not human beings.
So you don't have proof. What a liar.
