No, I look at the poster, the quality of the post, see if there is anything there as far as a concrete discussion goes and if not, simply answer in kind.

When and if you want to discuss this from the basis of the Roe v. Wade decision, then let's move on. I'm not interested in your opinions. I can see you opinions, but they don't overturn Roe v. Wade, nor do they have an impact on what occurred prior to Roe v. Wade.

If a "zygote" or a "fetus" is not alive until it takes its first breath do you think end term abortions are acceptable? If not, why not. (By end term abortions I mean right up to the time of a natural childbirth, right up until the instant a child emerges from his/her mother's womb)

You mentioned education in an earlier post. Interestingly the main reason for our decline in educational standards is the current liberal position of not allowing judgement to be passed on anyone. Its the current philosophy that 2 plus 2 could equal 5 and be a correct answer as long as the student used logic to arrive at that answer. It is the result of the mindset that minorities are not to be critized for not learning, after all its all whiteys fault. Its a result of the liberal position that pop culture is more important than learning about a bunch of dead white guys. No, you want to attack the current educational system, and I will be the first to admit it sucks, then you must look to the philosphies of the left, certainly not to the very fiew instances of Intelligent Design being taught in schools.

When the argument regarding legalizing abortion on a national scale first surfaced in the 1960's one argument was that it would lead to euthanasa of the elderly and the infirm and the incompetent. The conventional wisdom was that this was a stupid argument. However, it has come to pass that these very groups have been targeted for "assisted suicide" by the same philosophies as those pushing for murdering the unborn.

If the criteria is being able to breath on one's own why not immedidately terminate every life that requires a respirator to stay alive, my mother in law would have been terminated over a year before she actually died of natural causes. What about the severely retarded, what good are they to society, lets just get rid of them since they can't feed themselves or take care of themselves in any meaningful way.

Aborting a "fetus" is certainly an intriguing idea and can be argued on the basis of a "woman's right to chose" but its intellectual heir is euthanasa and "post partum" abortions as well.

Apparently you don't have any background into the Roe v. Wade decision and despite my posting it, you still fail to read and understand.

No, fetus are not humans....your argument comes from emotions...irrational at that..you fail to provide any basis for your feelings except emotions.

I'll tell you what....we'lllet women decide what to do with their lives and castrate men who have sex with women other than their lives...how's that for an emotional argument? Certainly more wellfounded and based on what you have presented than what you even have said. I say castrate all men who touch a woman who is not their wife....a little bit more benevolent than the Saudis, don't you think?

You really do have a hatred of men don't you? You also have no concept of biology if you think castration in and of itself will stop men from having sex.

Its not a question of emotion, its a question of logic. The logic of when life begins. It seems to me if anyone is operating on emotion its the pro abortion crowd who is looking at this for the emotional wellbeing of one person over another. It also seems to me that your side is the shallow thinking side since you absolutely refuse to look at any argument other than your own.

I understand your position, I merely reject it. I believe its a life and I believe its killing an unborn CHILD when you have an abortion. I am not prepared to call it murder, not really, since I do understand the pro's and con's. I have been on both sides of this issue, having erroneously believed in abortion at one time. However, from a logical standpoint I can come to no other conclusion that a fetus is a life and the taking of that life, just to make things easier for the mother, is wrong.

Are women so powerless that they can't demand their lovers use birth control, that they don't take precautions themselves (after all they are the ones most likely to suffer for an unwanted pregnancy). Are you really saying that women are powerless and the only way they can get power is to kill their own children? Wow, what a damning position to take about women.

By the way, women should have the right to decide what to do with THEIR lives, but not the life of the unborn child they have emplanted in their womb. I

Let me get this straight...because I think women should have control over their lives, I hate men? How pathetic and insecure could one man be....

I respond to your logic that women are whores by suggesting men are no more than sex fiends...if you want to raise the discussion to topics and issues, and leave the opinions and emotions out of it, i will. Otherwise, your irrational and insecure emotional comments which turns women into no more than whores will be met head on with my emotional depictions..you get what you give.

Failure on your part to educate yourself with the development stages of gestation are hardly my problem. Again, you give birth, we'll talk. Until then, you are clueless as to what is involved in gestation, at what stage life exists, as to defining life and this conversation with you, Dom1 Is through.

Mute point...you refuse to discuss gestation and life as defined as self-sustainging..you therefore forfeit any right for me to continue being involved in your irrational emotional rants, Dom1.

Shouldn't healthcare be a right? Well, we are losing more women in childbirth than we have in a long time. Where is your outrage for women?

Beginning to wonder if joyful woman isn't a Dom1 sock, too....like nathan..anyone?

If you want a Constitutional Protection of Abortion, you need an amendment. Not the decision of unelected judges who wield unchecked authority over what the Constitution says. Even if the Constitution does not say it....

Your post is certainly contradictory... the constitution says but doesn't say....

Of course the court should reflect political opinion. Our laws are a living body and reflect the concerns of the era. One would only wish that a permanent right of choice would become the standard for women, without the interference of mythical religious pronouncements and expectations, or feelings of entitlement from males.
