Second : You are correct in that there is hypocrisy everywhere. But that shouldn't be the reason for you to not want to take a position. I am sure you are against robbery and stealing, ofcourse. It happens in the hood and it happens in the "corporate" scene, as well. And there are people from both groups that would say that it is wrong....does that make sense, I don't know ...my point is just because a "right wing christian evangelist" might speak out against something is wrong, and then fail to uphold that morality...doesn't negate the morality of the said act.
ie. I am sure, you, like me as a parent tell our kids that a certain behaviour is wrong...eating too many sugary foods(cheesy example, but you get the point) we'll one night we might eat a little too much dessert...It doesn't make eating too many sugary foods okay, it just means that we are human and we fall and we fail, then try to do better.
