George, I agree, I don't think the government should interfer. I think that is exactly what happened with Roe v Wade. I think the government claiming it to be a God Given right has put an end to the moral debate (this is exactly what the Constitution provides, after all did not the Founding Fathers claim that our rights were endowed by our Creator, therefore any right we have is God, Creator if you wish, given.) I cannot believe our Creator, whatever his form would grant the right to destroy the unborn.

Excluding, the morning after pill and the ru 486, most abortions are not performed on a zygote. They are at about 6 weeks along. George, the heart is beating at 21 days. Do hearts beat in "potential" human beings? So, I assume you would say no. A heart beats in a human being. Therefore, following your reasoning you would then maybe be only supportive of the abortifacient pills...yes?
Have you ever seen any images of a six week old in uterus? I hadn’t until a few years back, which is what helped my change of heart and mind.

Also, Peach, I kinda have my hands full right now and have already been on too long. I want to deal with your posts specifically when I can concentrate...just one thing about the other thread I had posted on being a lady...I stopped participating because of the ad hominem and vulgar attacks..so I haven't and will not be going back to that thread. We have looked into homeschooling and totally are against tv in the bedrooms...only DVD for the kids so they can watch the Veggie Tales and other good videos...

Each of my kids got a TV and VCR in their bedrooms for their 13th birthdays . That way they could watch movies , but I could control what was watched still on the cable in the family room.

My youngest son at 26 still likes to go to sleep he admits to the movie the butter cream gang , a movie much like the little rascals but with young teenaged characters .
