By the way, the choice she made was to spread her legs or not. She chose to have sex, she chose to create the circumstances that could lead to the creation of life inside of her body. She is nothing more than the vessel for that life at that point.

I am not willing to pay for someone elses folly, no. Tell us who the father is and let the government extract child support if you are too namby pamby to do so. Also to make the statement that those who oppose abortions don't care about (1) women, (2) children, (3) starvation or (4) every other evil in the world is about as stupid a statement as anyone can make. There are many many many charities funded by churches or private citizens etc that are dedicated to the support of women and children. Ya know, I don't think Nate is a hypocrite in this instance. Hypocritical would be him expecting someone to take care of his, but not wishing to take care of someone elses.

Now, if you were to argue that he didn't wish any tax money to be spent on say prevention or in sorting out why abortion occurs, then by all means that would be hypocritical. Unplanned pregnancies happen for a variety of reasons, and until we can help those that come from backgrounds that are inducive to unplanned pregnancies, then abortion will always be a problem.

There are many ways that these people can be helped. First all they can start by trying to help themselves. Why is socialism the only answer. Why do you think all unwed mothers are stupid and incompetent and incapable of helping themselves. Do you believe that Jesus was not the only virgin birth and there are no fathers invovled that can be tapped to pay for their own offspring?

Charities never have "enough" money. If you gave every single dime you made to charity it would not be enough because people like you always want more more more. You create a problem and then your only answer is tax the rich, tax the poor, tax everyone.
