"Can you let it rest at letting others decide?"
>>>I think people need to do more recusing. Sometimes a fight just ain't MY fight. I say let the women decide that issue. I'd support it either way.

George, can I ask you a question? If you saw a lady a few stories up about to throw her child out the window, would you call out and try to stop her?

>>>You see, that would be murder. Until someone can show me that a zygote is a human being, I won't be convinced that abortion is murder. "Potential" human beings don't count.
Also, this is America and freedom counts for something. If a panel of church ladies told me I couldn't get a vasectomy, I'd have to tell 'em to stick to their own business.

Potential human beings???? What else would a "zygote" become except dead?

>>>The operative word here is "become". If it has to "become", it "ain't".

Nate
How would you in your uneducated condition know the first thing about birth , death or life?
I think you should stop trying to spread myths , you seem to base your life around common voodoo traditions . No better than a uneducated peasant in a third world country. Who thinks because we have a eclipse the sun is dying. Your educational abilities are not better than that peasant.
You should just admit it you don't have a clue what you are talking about , and shut up.

George I think I am going to drop out of this discussion because we are speaking two separate languages here. I believe, and nothing will convince me otherwise, that a "zygote" is a human being and you are taking a human life when you abort. You don't and nothing will convince you otherwise (at least at this time, at one time I thought the same as you, I have since changed my mind)
So, I am not conceding defeat or running away, just recognizing that any further discussion is pointless
Have a good New Year

How urban and witty.
Well, just exactly how does one respond to such insightful prose except to say.
My God you are a foolish person

Nate, I think abortion is unnatural and disgusting. I dislike it profoundly and have never counseled my wife or anyone I know to have one. I just don't believe it's my decision and don't like the idea of government intervening in what I believe to be a very personal matter.
