That is true, that a disproportionately amount come from rural areas. My arguement would still be that it is from what they are taught at home. I cannot speak from an urban area view, as I was raised in small town, rural America. My friends, my kids' friends are typical red-neck, farmer joes. They still believe in the RED/WHITE/BLUE. They still believe that this is the greatest country ever, and that it is worth defending. They may not support the President or his decisions regarding Iraq, but they do support their country, and part of that support is joining the military.
