all im sayin' is this... maybe the answer to the problems of iraq isnt more soldiers and guns. i don't even pretend to know what the fuck is going on over there, or how we can fix it. but people doubt that any progress is being made. they feel that we are just tossing our kids into the fray with no clear or obtainable objective, and they want to stop it obviously.
as for iraq... the majority of people assume that foriegn countries do not want to be invaded by us. they assume that the iraqis are very very pissed off, and they assume that the iraqi people would like us to end the invasion.
are they wrong in assuming this?

Iraq was happy with our invasion. This is obvious. terrorism changed this. From a marines stand point more troops will only help. ar result of more troops is a smaller area of operations, more detailed searches, more overwatch, more presence, more freedom to roam the streets for troops and police, less enemy activity in the streets etc etc etc...... To do this all we need is really one or two infantry companys per city in the anbar provence. Bush plans to send much more. I would have loved to have had this type of surge when i wan in iraq. The problem is the liberals dont see the common sence of the issue!
