agreed there is progress being made. But at the present time there is low rate of return with money invested in wind. Each wind unti produces at it's peak wich is the moment it starts 3.5 mw. After that the law of diminishing returns take into place. Beleive i know. I was going to build a windfarm with a few of my partners a few years back.......
Not only that these units would have to be close to there consumption source because there is loss of current during transmission over those power lines. The average loss can be explained in this way. It takes 2,000 watts at the factory to light up a 20 w bulb in your home.
