I was reading today where one third of London homes will be powered by wind (http://www.goodharborreport.com/node/859). It is embarasssing to see other countrys making great strides to reduce carbon dioxide emmissions and the United States just goes on with business as usual. I am sure with the amount of coastline the United States has, we would be able to take advantage of this source of power.
