There are a lot of jobs out there, just check the want ads in any major Sunday paper. I don't think people in general have a problem with some people on welfare. It is those who are more than capable of working but choose not to which people complain about. They are the problem. The people who take advantage of the system are the problem.

Personally, I would be embarrassed to be on welfare if I was perfectly capable of working. Others have no problem with it.

Why is it the taxpayers responsibility to put you through college? Thousands get student loans each year to do this. It is called an investment.
