I will agree that true capitalism has never really existed. However, I sincerely believe that the closer we come to capitalism the freer we are as a people. The rate of growth of the United States was after the War of Northern Agression until around the early 1900's, the time of "unbridled capitalism". And what are the "right" conditions? Most of the time capitalism does not work because government does not allow it to work.

Also, Mexico is stagnant. The economy may be controlled by five families but at some point that wealth will decrease since those five families are not "making" money, i.e. creating new weath by creating new markets. Mexico will just be another slave state relying on stolen labor, which is not capitalism.

China is China, it always goes back to being China. At one time the Chinese were called the "Jews of the Orient" because they were the most enterprising people on the face of the earth, they were the shop owners of the Far East. China has never been controlled by an outside force and communism is an outside force. Every "conqueror" of China has evenually become Chinese in culture. Communism will be no different in the long run. Now that communism is losing its grip capitalism is coming to the fore. Perhaps one day China will be the only super power and the Middle Kingdom will control the world, but it will do so under capitalism not socialism or government control
