And you have it bass-ackwards as far as China is concerned. As its standard of living increased due to controls, small concessions to capitalism have been made. Capitalists just don't seem to understand that in order to have capitalism, you have to have capital first.

George it is the control, regardless of who is doing the controlling that puts the lie to capitalism. Mexico is not a capitalist country, at least its an oligarchy but in no way can you ever describe Mexico as a bastion of capitalism, and you are right, that is why 15 million Mexicans are living in the United States, because we do embrace capitalism more closely.
You don't know Chinese history very well George. the increase in capitalism lead to the increase in the economic condition of China, its still controlled and I am not saying China is a capitalistic country, far from it, but its move to capitalism has lead to an increase in income for the average Chinese citizen
