The solution is simple. Bring the Big "D" back into the game. Let the zone defend against the seven foot elbow hatchet men that pitch a tent in the paint. Just who wants to see a bunch of over paid children run from one end of the court to the other, pull up, pop a quick 20 footer and run back to the other end of the court, as the board is slammed practically every run? As I said, bring back the defense, do away with the 3 pointer, count every shot taken in the paint for its true worth......ONE POINT, then sit back and watch a real game that must be played between the ears as well as on hardwood. If I wanted to see cheap HOT DOGS....I'd go to a baseball game. Or go watch the "Globetrotters".
