Teachers earn more than enough money, the problem is the hours they are expected to work - without pay.
For example, a teacher must mark exams at home or while on holidays, and they are not paid for this. They must come in early to plan the days lesson, and they are not paid for this as the day has not 'officially' begun.
A teacher must correct students work and plan lessons on a Public Holiday, and during school holidays, much of the teachers time is spent planning the following semester.
I don't have a problem with their wages, what I have a problem with is the extra hours they are expected to put in, without payment.
