The ME 262 was a non-factor, it had less than 10 minutes of flight time, it was no faster than the P-51 and as Pat pointed out, Germany was incapable of producing the numbers of ME 262's to have much of an effect.

patriot2342001 Not much really, the Germans were stretched too thin fighting in the Soviet Union. The Germans needed more trucks, more tanks, more men and more planes of any kind. The war was won because of production. The USA and USSR simply produced tons more stuff than the German economy could
