Yes, Conservatives believe that the culture should not provide for the free distribution of narcotics and other presently illicit drugs. But to complain about the influence of drug dealers and blaming that influence on the law sets aside the certainty that those idiots would be influential in other presently unforeseen ways without such laws and the abuse rates would be catastrophic, bringing with them a brand new set of problems.

You erroneously believe that it is a right to use drugs. It is not. There is no right which provides that a person can participate in behavior where they become a burden to their neighbor, which inherently usurps their right.

Sure, if this nation were not infected with leftist entitlements, where any adleminded sot can suckle on the government tit whenever they find themselves unable to produce sufficiently to care for themselves, then I would agree; let them buy their drugs and destroy themselves... and let them die as a result of that abuse. Of let them sign contracts which obligate them to serve thoe who pay for their care and rehabilitation; indentured servitude of the highest order.

But such is not the case and when these idiots find themselves on the government dole because of their abuse of drugs, they usurp the rights of thier neighbors, whosetaxes they consume under their dead weight.
