I do find it amuzing, however, that you're flavor of doomsday is especially defensible and all encompasing. Let's see if I have this right. Temperatures rise but only in certain regions. Therefore, if a region records low temperatures, you can chaulk that up to Wibblyesq type global warming. How convenient. Furthermore, the two regions that undoubtedly fit in the "high temperature" category are the polar regions. Or do the oceans heat up so much that they melt regardless?
