Mexican and Labor in one sentence to me seems sort of like a joke. I would say 75% of the hispanics in the valley I live in, don't work, they either claim disability, or get welfare or whatever. There are hard working hispanics that I have respect for, however I see so many who don't do anything while I have to pay for their lifestyles and they just sit around doing nothing. While I'm working my 12-14 hour shifts to take care of their families, their out getting their hair and nails done. It must be nice for some of these women to sit home and take care of their children, not work and draw an income, while other families have to pay to send their children to daycare. I mentioned before that I forgot to take the class in high school, How to reap the most government benefits possible 101. I must have been ditching school that day or something, but there is a huge generational welfare problem here which extends into our social security benefits, healthcare and all that. There are some white people like that too, I tend to think the younger generations are just lazy and don't want to work, and wouldn't belittle themselves to do certain jobs.

I was taking care of a patient who hurt her leg, she was in her 30's and I thought she might need a note for work or to do light duty due to her injury so I asked her what she did for a living, and she said, "what do you mean?" Well I thought that was a rather easy question, so I said, "where do you work? She says, "oh, I can't work, I'm on disability." I immediately exclaimed in horror, "what for?" She states, "oh many things, but mainly I can't work because I get stressed out." I thought really, wow, welcome to reality, I just can't believe people like this tax our system. She has no chronic physical defecit, and would be fine doing a job in a store or something but since her whole family is on the dole, it is just easier to do that. That is the kind of thing that really burns me up. Who and what entity is responsible for letting these people on disability, they should be fired.
