I do remember in the 90s, when Teachers started this campaign of telling kids to report their parents for any type of abuse and the teachers defined abuse for them. Now, we have an epidemic of Teachers raping their students here in America. It's the wolf guarding the hen house.
Amazingly, I have been to Belize and covered most of the country.
I have never heard of any problems like this down there.
If Belize is going to start this socialist crap, I will pull my investment in their power plant.

The cases that seem to come up the most lately are from the boyfriends of their mothers usually, although there are always exceptions. Many times the fathers are just visiting from other countries so many children just don't know their fathers. I have not heard of any cases involving teachers though.
The reason for the march was to allow the kids to feel comfortable discussing the subject and to make it less taboo to talk about with each other and to other adults. Also a chance for them to show the local community that they are aware that it is wrong and that if it happens then they will tell. Kind of like a warning to potential predators I suppose.
