That I can agree with. I have no doubts that, given some serious trauma, one could effectively lose interest in the opposite sex.

However, it can't really work that way for homosexuality. While trauma could make you lose sexual interest, I sincerely doubt any kind of trauma can make a person romantically and sexually attracted to the same sex.

You're perfectly right, our genitals were made the way they are mainly for procreation via sex between a male and a female. Then again, most straight couples also use them in ways they aren't supposed to, or even prevent them from doing what they should when used properly. As for the attraction you have for women... Let me put it this way: That feeling is just the same way as a lesbian feels. That's all there is to it.
