Second, and equally important, if there should be another world war, and the neo-con leftovers are banking on it (literally), how could we possibly get up to speed on weapons production, and all the little things that must be made from the gears and sprockets to the field medic and surgical kits and more importantly, all those nifty little electronic devices we use if no one is currently making them here?
We dusted the enemies in WWI and II because we didn't have to rely on anyone for anything. We already made it here.
You don't see a significant threat to our security here?
