So much now is turning out to be genetically influenced: is it possible that we --mostly of European heritage-- have a genetic disposition to fight before we talk?

Or do we have a disposition to "demonize" before we attempt to understand?

Or do we have a disposition to "see things as black & white" when there is lots of grey?

Or do we have a disposition to "see what is just different" as "right or wrong"?

Do we really "forgive & try to understand others" as "we expect them to do for us"?

Do we really "do unto others" as we "ask them to do unto us"?

We were told to "love others as we love ourselves", do we do this?

Do we really believe what we so often claim to pray: "Thy will be done"?

How about "lead us not into temptation", do self-serving lies tempt others to do our will?

Does "deliver us from evil" mean we have no obligation to seek what is right ourselves?

Does "will I prayed about that" mean "I don't have to work to learn about that"?

Does "they should never have signed that mortgage" mean its OK to "leave my neighboor in the ditch."?

Who said "love God & your neighboor as your self" is the Greatest Commandment?

Hagee might be right, he just has the really important issues wrong: that guy that so many Americans claim to pray to, did actually tell us what to do & how to live, mostly about our actions toward other people: and here we who pray so much & elect presidents that pray so much, seem to have forgotten how we were told to live our lives. ....pjwky
