As far as living 'entirely' for yourself, why coudn't one do that?
As far as would someone do it, most likely not. The rub is that if you do live your life for others as well then it shouldn't be mandated to do so but rather an individual choice.
Starving to death, how so? In a scenario where one lives "for themselves", it doesn't mean that they don't engage in a fair trade (dollars for food) with others.
Either way they are extreme examples.
