-China is using more oil but that's not the real inflationary cost.... To find the real inflation you need to look at our own country. One thing needing mention is the fact the treasury department turned the Printers on and have been printing money as fast s possible which ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS causes inflation. Even without oil your dollar will buy less each and every day those machines keep printing money.
-ANWR is a band-aid to a larger issue. This latest farm bill only adds to the cost of oil, food and many other comodities. In an agricultural state let me tell you what I see happen every damn day..............................................* Many farmers lease land, plant a crop then walk away. They only return to the land when they have an official from the farm bureau inspecting those crops which have obviously failed and died. With farm subsidies that farmer collects a large paycheck for intentionally letting that crop fail. Yes, this is an illegal act but who can prove it? they don't even try to prove it! I know a couple of brothers that spend all year every year leasing land, planting crops and letting them fail. they don't even own harvesting equipment! It's our tax dollars buddy! Yeah for the american farmer subsidies!
