1) It's dumb to criticize China for driving up fuel prices when they are practicing the very right wing capitalism espoused on this site by the same people calling for that very thing.

2) If we raised the average miles per gallon of the American car fleet by 1 mpg it would pre-empt the need to drill ANWR.
