The EPA is a prime example of just how ignorant government agencies are..........

Look up TERMITES and the amount of damage they do per year. Then look up CHLORDANE (A banned chemical). Then look up the year it was banned and cross referenece termite damage while it was still used to the present year....

Furthermore, when Chlordane was banned (on the last of many attempts) notice the legislature disallowed human testing scientific data that was, in all previous attempts to ban it allowed inside those hearings. It was ruled that human testing data was inhumane thus not allowed in hearing even though the data was done back when it was legal!

This is how our EPA works to remove perfectly safe chemicals that WORK and introduce new ones that do not work as well and often cause us more harm...
