The American Jewish Year Book N.5702 from September 22-1941
to September 11-1942,tome 43,published in Philadelphia by
The jewish publication society of America, confirms at page 666,
that taking in account the maximal nazi expantion to Russia and
also counting those jews who remained in Germany in 1941 ,
in the whole Europe occupied by the Germans ,
there were three millions ,one hundred ten thousand ,seven
hundred twenty two jews.

Jewish well known historian Raul Hilberg in his book
La Destruction des Juifs d"Europe , english edition
Holmes and Mayer,1985, page 895 said
one million two hundred fifty thousand .
Mr. Hilberg was in the concentration camp during
WW2 . He died last year.
