I agree with you Great White North Man: and as I live in Kentucky, tomorrow I will go and vote for him: but the national news media are calling for him to loose here: don't know, most of the yard signs I see are Obama signs. Tomorrow will tell.

However, either way, I think our problem is much greater then any one person: I guess these last 8 years have shown us just how many things can go wrong when "we the people" make the wrong choice, and we blindly think that the right choice could make the difference: unfortunately, I fear its much worse then that.

There is an active thread here today, it calls for suggestions to the Constitution: I suspect that something that major & dramatic would be necessary to really trun the nation around & redirect it back toward greatness.
