mmmmmmm..... This subject strikes a nerve on me.

I have raised 4 children through the pitfalls of modern society and the education system in America on my own dime. All are self sustaining citizens with a sense of personal responsibility. Only one, an accountant by education, is employed by a govt. entity as a purchasing agent. She makes damn sure the taxpayer is getting their money's worth when she spends public money and I'm proud of her for that. The other three are in careers that aren't likely to be exported to other Countries ...... Registered Nurse, Electrical Contractor and an Attorney.

When I see some unkempt, lard ass woman with 3 or 4 scuzzy screaming or whining brats in tow ..... buying food products (ready to pop in the microwave) with food stamps ..... I wonder why we (taxpayers) can't say....when the first of those children was brought to public assistance. ok.... we are going to give you public funds for THIS one that you have produced with no thought of the 20 years of responsibility YOU have created. It is your responsibility to make damn sure you don't produce another public charge ..... and I'm willing to provide at public expense birth control ...... which you are required to use faithfully until you can start paying for him/her and any future offspring. Another such occurence would require mandatory sterilization if she wished to continue receiving public money for HER self aquired responsibilities.

I don't mean to excuse the sperm donor either ...... that bastard is just as responsible as the mother and should be persued all the way to jail if necessary to take and make good on the responsibility they created.

Bottom line..... I can cut you some slack for initial mistakes in dealing with parental obligations..... but if you can't support your own children ....why the hell would you think I care to do so?

There it is! Attack me all you want..... it is simple common sense and if that wisdom escapes you....I really don't give a shit.
