I glad you said "lived through". Are things getting better now that you (OK)have some good immigration laws?
I have friends, family men, who were roofers, carpenters, plumbers and things. they can't buy a job. All the work is being done by cheap Illegals.
We also have a housing (Mortgage) crisis. However a good number of forclosures are for Latino owners. Owners who were targeted by the mortgage companies with special programs. These owners don't even try to keep the property just walk away, period. Now were supposed to bail everyone out?
