Its a circular relationship, in which only one of the three parties involved can be in control. The Government in our country tries to work for the people and for the corporations, but that balance is uneven and as a result there are different elements sort of pulling and pushing our business world without a consistent intention. Republicans making laws favoring big businesses in strictly sinister fashion and Democrats making laws disfavoring big businesses putting them into infinitely regressive loops of bureaucracy, forms, filing, and taxation without representation. If there was one philosophy here there wouldn't be a problem, either way, its the tension that causes the stratification of the middle class and small business man. For example, take Big Oil. In an effort to control them the government taxes gas and imports, they subject them to weird regulations and committees and forms. This results in building a business model thats clever and resistant to these factors, not one which embraces them. That is to say, one choice might be better for the environment so the government insists on doing it in this one particular way, and as a result the company looks for ways to avoid it. On the other end you have tons of suits in the government who are working directly for these companies, making legislation which favors particular businesses. Again, the end result being the stratification of the middle class.
This is why we need some common sense type economic policy coming from a businessman president who's goal is to turn the United States into a well tuned business machine, pumping out brilliant and even environmentally minded businesses like they were stamps. America needs ONE type of president, a scientifically and economically minded leader, who doesn't think twice about topical trash like gay rights, abortion, ten commandments bullshit, all that. Instead we get bullshitters, working for shadows.
