Saddam and the Taliban were the two greatest enemies of Iran and by removing them the imperialists have inadvertently strengthened the Iranian regime and made it into a regional superpower. Not really a successful achievement of their goals now is it?

Obviously we are their to secure our National interest. Iran has not been strengthened or else they wouldnt pursue a nuclear weapons program at the risk of international embargos, sactionst, and isolation. The reason they are doing so is to secure themselves from the American military might. Basically we secured Iraq, Sadr city will be subdued just as the Sunni's were Iraq is big it takes time to secure all of it more importantly the Oil is secured.
