Education pays for itself...educated people earn more, and thus spend more and produce more.

The rich do NOT put their money in a bank, under a mattress, in a cookie jar, but instead reinvest it back into the economy. The rich are business savvy, know how to make companies grow which nearly always makes employees happier (especially if they invest into the company they work). The rich keep the cycle of money circulating at a fast speed.
The government instead uses tax money taken from rich to redistribute wealth, promote a welfare state, reward laziness and increase the size of a beurocracy by hiring 3 people to do 1 job which provides almost nothing of value except killing time...

Left to their own devises, those with the monitary power to do so, will benifit themselves without regard to what benifits other Americans or the American economy.
What an effective government does, is reward those who benifit the ecomomy and do what is best for America (Remember "targeted tax cuts' ? ) and uses the revenue to uphold Constitutional requirements and mandates. ALL Constitutional requirements and mandates....not just those that fit the right wing agenda
