I've been watching this healthcare situation pretty closely. So far only a few ideas exist and they mostly will force us to have insurance. I'm not agains't insurance but forcing us to have it disturbs me. Rather, why not provide everyone with healthcare by using a tax. I know "not another tax". It would seem to me that a tax placed on most everything we buy could pay for health coverage for everyone. This way noone would be left out or fail in some way to pay as they go. A small calculated tax placed on everthing "helping to lesson the burden" . The government collects the tax and it's made impossible to rob it by anyone for any reason. It's not that hard to do and noone can cheat this system. And if you want it, you pay the tax. Kinda like gasoline taxes that help keep the roads currently in dis-repair. I'm sure you get the idea.
