Democratic earmarks ?

LOL..that IS funny

WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN FOR 8 YEARS?

Anyone with a brain realizes that a tax holiday to keep prices down during the peak season would work IF the cost was not passed to the oil companies who would then have to raise their prices to cover it. That is why Clinton's idea is wrong. 9 billion dollars. Then when the taxes kick back in it will be after the peak season for gasoline prices.

I think you mean the 6 years prior to the Democrats taking over the Congress with the promises to eliminate earmarks, stop funding the 'war' in Iraq, move to a 5 day work week, and stop corruption and influence peddling.

For 6 years I watched in horror as liberal Republicans ran the nation like they were Democrats. Bush's constant reaching across to Democrats like Kennedy, Bill Clinton, and other Democrats who promptly backstabbed him like the weasels they are. The compromises Bush went with that spawned record pork. In 2006 I worked hard convincing many people to hold their noses and vote for Democrats. I knew then and now that people like you are too stupid to hold liberals accountable like I held the liberal Republicans accountable. You prove me right when you disregard 2 years of Democrats not living up to a single campaign promise of 06.

Are you comfortable with Pelosi selling time with herself for $155,000? Are you comfortable with Pelosi pushing for a minimum wage increase except in Somoa where her family has a business interest? Did you expect the Democrats to eliminate earmarks? Did you expect the Democrats to eliminate funding for the 'war' in Iraq to bring it to an end? Did you expect the Democrats to fight for a balanced budget? For more affordable energy costs? I KNEW the Democrats would not live up to their promises, are you honest enough to admit that they have not? Are you willing to hold the Democrats accountable just as I held the liberal Republicans accountable?

To me it is disgusting to hear liberals whine about the deficeit when both of your candidates are promising hundreds of billions in new spending. You either want neither Obama, Clinton, nor the proud liberal McCain or you want record spending. You seem dumb enough to be an Obamite. I bet you even defend Obama's plan to spend 845 billion by 2015 fighting poverty in a manner that will raise the poverty line so even more people live in poverty. So when all is said and spent the 845 billion will have to swell to well over a trillion. Then there is the money Obama has promised the UN to fight poverty. Plus all of his promises to buy off voters. Plus Obama has said he cannot promise to have the troops out of Iraq by 2013 so he will still be spending money on the 'war'. Plus the Democrats will gain seats in the Congress so earmarks will have to go up.
