Like it or not, you libs a a big problem with Obama a your Presumed Nominee. The perception in swing votes is just that. He's an elite, racist, who wants to negotiate with the enemy at our nation's expense. Begala is right when he said the Dems can't win with the black and "egghead" vote. If the demographics of his most recent wins and losses in the primaries tells us anything, it tells us this:

He is not a uniter, above the fray candidate who reaches out to all people. That's a projection libs want us to believe of him. He says nothing of substance better than most. All platitudes of "change and hope". Without mentioning his route to change, people project, that they know there must be change, and hope the change he doesn't state, meets their projections. His appeals are strictly to the blacks, educators, and students. There is no appeal towards southern Reagan Democrats, or middle class, and moderate evangelicals. These are a large portion of swing voters any candidate needs to win.

His message of Hope is to pretend everything this nation has done, accomplished, in the name of Democracy, our greatness was nothing. That we as a nation have done more harm than good throughout the world. And at long last the Messiah has arrived to correct the wrongs. Even now, despite the "hate America" teachings from the education system, more Americans still take exception to this. That far too many resent the revisionist history of this nation. And they will send his half black butt packing back to the Church of Hate.

And truly the luckiest humans in the world are McCain and Obama. McCain has this election in his pocket if the dummy so long as he understands he need his base. So how this seems to elude him.
