What I find interesting about McCain's position is that he wants the market to decide with individuals seeking insurance in the free market.

And then when the insurance companies refuse to cover these people because they have chronic health conditions or had developed disease that the insurance company considers unprofitable to cover, McCain calls for government subsidized health insurance run by the government.

And in all his calls for reform, I don't find any hint that he is calling for dismantling the government run healthcare system that he has relied on for pretty much his entire life. Where is his call to privatize the healthcare of those in the military and for the vets like himself who suffered service related injury?

After all, if his experience with government run healthcare is so terrible, why isn't that top in his priority to reform, replacing the military and veteran healthcare system with payments so those who served in the military buy their own healthcare?
