Burmanet
I have been told for the past 7 years that the world hates Americans.
Why should I have compassion for people that hate me for no reason?
I see your understanding of Burmese history is about as shallow as your understanding of Nietzsche and Darwin.

SLORC seized power in 1988, not 1962. There have been several military coups in the country over the past half century, intermingled with democracies (more or less), with the last one existing since 1974. If anything SLORC is specifically NOT socialistic, since they overthrew the previous socialistic government.

As for hating the US. The government there is not the people. When I was there most Burmese were pretty pro-American. This is one of the reasons the government doesn't want the US to enter into the country.
