The oil industry news site and Alex Jones article you quoted did mislead a bit in the title.
Gore was giving an example of the possiblity that increased intensity of storms might be associated with climate change that the consensus of IPCC and NASA scientists have long predicted.
I follow scientific documents more than Al Gore , but I do believe he is sincere in his efforts to encourage America to explore alternative energy sources. He has donated all his profits from his documentary and book to alternative energy research--which most people do support even if they do not believe man is responsible for CC.
As far as your sources I am not saying Alex Jones or the oil industry news where this article was published are always incorrect, but the title was misleading.
I am unclear on your logic connecting it to the Westboro Baptist Church and hating him so much.
You can hate whoever you want and for whatever reason but your emotion on this was so strong it caught my attention.
Regarding the cyclone--The people of Burma have so little--I am hoping this horrific tragedy might open opportunities to open borders for the people who are trying to resist the junta.
I am hoping the donations pouring in are not going to the junta--but to the people.
