Default There are no sacred relics

My thoughts in no particular order...The mosaic is a demonstration of some considerable patience and skill and it is an interesting piece of art. I like Star Wars and I am also a follower of Christ. God is the ultimate artist and his creatures, even in rebellion, can create amazing works of art, because they are made in his image. I can appreciate the beauty of the mosaic and relate to the artist on a human level to some degree.

Regarding the Last Supper, there are no sacred relics or images of God. The Last Supper is not a painting in the bible and it gets no protected status as some holy relic. You can make versions of it as you wish. My only concern is that you don't disrespect Jesus in the way you do it. If your desire is to belittle Jesus and insult his followers then it is apparent that you have some spiritual problem with Jesus who claimed to be God and that he would Judge mankind in the afterlife. This is a concern.

Also, while Star Wars is an interesting fantasy with elements of religious mysticism sprinkled in, it is not, and was not intended to be a genuine truth about God and Reality. The story of the Last Supper and the events leading up to Jesus' death are quite interesting also when you consider them and even more so because they are true.

Nefarious_plot was hoping to get a reaction out of Christians. You got one. Christians don't need to get angry or argue in a mean spirited way because we have the truth on our side.
